Yes! Your SmartWash™ comes with an 8-foot hose and various tools to clean stains and spills on upholstered furniture. Always check manufacturer’s label before cleaning for any specific instructions. Why will my SmartWash Pet the not dispense water/solution?
The clean water tank or solution tank may not be firmly in place. Make sure both tanks are locked into position. If they are attached correctly, you should not be able to move them around.
Why will the hose not spray?
Turn the unit on, pull the hose so it is straight, and lower the hose to the ground. Now, squeeze the trigger 10 times in a row, and then hold the trigger down for one minute. Note: If you have used a non-Hoover brand solution with this unit, it is likely you have developed a clog in your internal hoses. You may need to repeat this process numerous times to try to push the buildup out.
Why is there a loss of suction / no suction?
Empty the Dirty Water Tank and rinse the screen filter located in the corner of the tank. Next, add 1 cup of warm water to the tank. Make sure the tank lids are properly attached. Lastly, rinse the nozzle and be sure is securely latched to the unit.

Turn the unit on, pull the hose so it is straight, and lower the hose to the ground. Now, squeeze the trigger 10 times in a row, and then hold the trigger down for one minute. Note: If you have used a non-Hoover brand solution with this unit, it is likely you have developed a clog in your internal hoses. You may need to repeat this process numerous times to try to push the buildup out.
Why is there a loss of suction / no suction?
Empty the Dirty Water Tank and rinse the screen filter located in the corner of the tank. Next, add 1 cup of warm water to the tank. Make sure the tank lids are properly attached. Lastly, rinse the nozzle and be sure is securely latched to the unit.
