Shipping Options and Payments

General Shipping Information

  • Hoover.com no longer ships to Canada (visit Hoover.ca), Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, Guam, a PO Box, an APO, or other military address. These addresses can still be used for a billing address, but you will need to ship to a different address. If you need to ship products to any of these types of addresses, please call our customer service department to place the order at (800) 944-9200 Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST.
  • Hoover.com uses FedEx as the carrier to ship our products when the Standard Delivery option is selected at checkout.
  • RECONDITIONED UNITS are not eligible for second day or express shipping. Orders may take up to 6 business days to leave our warehouse. This also includes units marked refurbished or remanufactured.
  • All orders will be processed for shipment within one to two business days and received at your home within seven to ten days.
  • Shipment and delivery days are Monday through Friday, with the exception of national holidays. We do not make Saturday deliveries.
  • Standard shipping (5-7 Days) is free with the purchase of any Hoover cleaner (i.e. vacuums, carpet washers, hard floor cleaners, stick vacuums, etc.). A flat rate standard shipping charge of $4.99 will be charged with the purchase of any parts, accessories and cleaning solutions. Standard shipping only available for orders shipped within the 48 Contiguous States.
  • Orders shipped via Express FedEx 2-Day shipping within the US will include a flat rate shipping charge of $14.99.
  • Orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska must be sent via Express FedEx 2-Day shipping and will include a flat rate shipping charge of $24.99. Standard shipping is not available for orders shipped outside the 48 Contiguous States.
  • Express FedEx 2-Day orders must be received by 7:00 a.m. EST to be processed that day (Monday-Friday excluding holidays).
  • Please allow two business days after your order is processed according to the above criteria for Express orders.

Truck Shipments

If the weight and/or quantity of products on your order has qualified this shipment for Truck Delivery (i.e. 150 lbs. or more), you will be charged a fee of $45 in addition to the corresponding shipping charge (please see shipping rates below). Actual shipping charges will be displayed on the order review page. The freight company will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery date and time. Someone must be present at the time of delivery and a signature will be required. Please note that the drivers are contracted to deliver to the end of the truck only. You will be responsible for unloading the truck. Drivers do not provide inside delivery (over the threshold) as part of their service, so please be prepared to unload your order from the truck when it arrives. If you need assistance, please arrange for it in advance.

Shipping Rates

Standard (5-7 Days)

US Only - within the 48 Contiguous States

Standard shipping within the 48 US Contiguous States is free with the purchase of any Hoover® cleaner (i.e. vacuums, carpet washers, hard floor cleaners, stick vacuums, etc.). A flat rate standard shipping charge of $4.99 will be charged with the purchase of any parts, accessories and cleaning solutions. Standard shipping only available for orders shipped within the 48 Contiguous States. Note: orders to Hawaii and Alaska cannot ship via standard shipping and must be shipped via Express FedEx 2-Day shipping. Standard shipping is not available for truck shipments* over 150lbs.

*Orders over 150lbs will be sent Truck and subject to a $45 fee in addition to the corresponding shipping charge.

Express (2-Day)

US Only – within the 48 Contiguous States; not including Hawaii or Alaska

Orders shipped via Express FedEx 2-Day Shipping within the US will include a flat rate shipping charge of $14.99. Express FedEx 2-Day shipping is not available for truck shipments* over 150lbs.

*Orders over 150lbs will be sent Truck and subject to a $45 fee in addition to the corresponding shipping charge.

Express (2-Day)

Hawaii and Alaska

Orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska must be sent via Express FedEx 2-Day shipping and will include a flat rate shipping charge of $24.99. Standard shipping is not available for orders shipped outside the 48 Contiguous States.

*Orders over 150lbs will be sent Truck and subject to a $45 fee in addition to the corresponding shipping charge.

Payments

All dollar amounts shown on Hoover.com are in U.S. dollars. Payment is accepted using Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Debit cards, as well as credit cards, are accepted.

Canadian Customers
